Working Together

ABOUT THERAPY

I'm a firm believer that most everyone can benefit from therapy at some point. In therapy, you’ll discuss what is going on in your life. I’ll help you build the skills necessary to handle everything life throws at you. I’ll provide acceptance and support every step of the way.

The length of treatment varies, and if you put in the time and effort, you will experience great things. The benefits of therapy go far beyond your time in therapy; they are life-long.

FEES & INSURANCE or EAP’s

My fee is $200 for a 50-minute individual or $225 for a 50 minute couples session. I am not in-network with any insurance companies. I will provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance company if you’d like to use your out-of-network benefits. You can also use an FSA or HSA to pay for your sessions. I accept Lyra EAP.

CANCELLATIONS

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you no-show or cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, you’ll be responsible for the full session fee.

PRIVACY

Your safety and trust in therapy are important to me. What we talk about remains confidential. The exception to confidentiality is in cases where there is a threat to a person's safety, such as child and elder abuse, or when there is a court order made by a judge.

What is the No Surprises Act?

If you are not insured or don’t plan to use your insurance, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

What is a “Good Faith Estimate”?

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
